The people behind Complexly Simple

Who we are

Complexly Simple is a small, intentional team supporting leaders and organizations through growth, transition, and complexity.

We combine strategy, operational design, and practical coordination in a way that is relational, thoughtful, and paced with care.

Rather than offering quick fixes or rigid frameworks, we focus on strengthening the structures that allow teams to grow without strain.

Marcela Killin

Founder & Strategic Operations Lead

Marcela Killin works at the intersection of strategy, operational design, and human systems.

She supports organizations navigating complexity — helping leaders align their goals, structures, and ways of working with both their values and the practical realities of growth.

Marcela believes meaningful progress happens when organizations are intentionally designed to support people, not just performance. Her work focuses on strengthening the structural foundations that determine how much a team can sustainably hold — clarifying priorities, coordinating complexity, and building systems that allow important ideas to move from vision to reality without overwhelming the humans behind them.

As founder of Complexly Simple, Marcela brings a steady, systems-oriented approach to strategic and operational work — partnering with leaders who are committed to contributing to a better future while remaining grounded, sustainable, and human.

Adam Killin

Co-Founder & Media Production Lead

Adam Killin supports the translation of ideas into clear, intentional media.

At Complexly Simple, he leads content production across video and audio — ensuring that strategic conversations, initiatives, and insights are communicated in ways that feel grounded, thoughtful, and accessible.

With a background in music and sound design, Adam brings a strong sense of rhythm, pacing, and atmosphere to the work. His approach prioritizes clarity without overstimulation and expression without noise — helping content reflect the steadiness and depth behind the ideas it represents.

Alongside his role at Complexly Simple, Adam runs his own creative practice, Killin Tunes, where he composes original music and soundscapes for a range of projects. This creative foundation informs his production work with a careful attention to coherence, tone, and how content is experienced by its audience.

Ana Lima

Operations & Productivity Assistant

Ana Lima supports the day-to-day operational continuity of Complexly Simple.

Her work focuses on executive and administrative support — managing calendars, organizing documentation, coordinating communications, and maintaining the systems that keep work moving steadily behind the scenes.

By handling the practical details and administrative flow, Ana helps protect leadership focus and reduce cognitive load, ensuring that strategic work remains clear and uninterrupted.

Alongside her operational role, Ana is a visual artist working in digital illustration and animation. Her creative background informs her approach to organization and systems — with an eye for clarity, order, and how individual pieces fit within a larger whole.
